I enjoy collaborating with patients to find the most supportive mix of modalities for their healing journey. While acupuncture is often a central part of treatment, I am experienced in treating patients who are sensitive or apprehensive about it. Treatments can include other modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, teishin (non-insertive needles), herbal medicine, essences, medical qi gong, and lifestyle guidance.

I have skill and interest in helping people resolve the kinds of chronic, debilitating conditions that they cannot seem to find help for anywhere.
Digestive problem that just won’t go away? Menstrual problems that make every month a living hell? Auto-immune condition with no solid diagnosis? Endless series of colds, flus and allergy attacks that leave you winded and feeling broken? I have experience with helping people in these situations and many more to find lasting health and a better orientation towards their bodies and the healing process using Chinese medicine.
While I do practice acupuncture, my primary focus is on Chinese herbs, and my practice is increasingly oriented towards this work. Herbs and acupuncture are excellent companions. Herbs are a little like getting an internal acupuncture treatment daily - they treat you over a longer period of time and in a gentle, gradual way. Acupuncture is a bit more direct, almost a “bigger dose” of the qi movement or whatever it is we are trying to accomplish, so it can really help things on their way. Both are wonderful!

As an esthetician for 17 years, I’ve curated an esthetics practice that focuses less on pampering spa treatments and beautification, and more on skin care as a basic health right. With a pursuant interest in Hungarian and Korean spa culture, as well as Ayurvedic health systems, I’ve come up with an incredibly attentive hands-on treatment designed to nourish and detoxify your skin at a deep cellular level.
I’m here to help, and I’m obsessed with results and nurturing client relationships for the long-term.

**Kaos is able to take Regence/BC/BS, United Healthcare, Triwest, and MVA and Worker’s comp claims. We will update as they get credentialed with insurance companies.
I’ve been a massage therapist for nearly ten years. During that time, I’ve worked hard to learn and explore new techniques to meet each client’s specific needs. I love to nerd out about the body and am passionate about helping people figure out how to best support both their muscular and nervous systems.
Looking forward, my goals are to expand my craniosacral skills, learn more about pelvic floor work to better support clients in the perinatal field, and continue learning how the various body systems interact so I can provide the best bodywork possible.

I believe in the body’s innate intelligence to heal and repair itself.
East Asian medicine modalities, like acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, help support the body and aid its healing process. After working 15 years as a nurse, I am grateful to now align with and practice Classical Chinese Medicine here at Watershed Wellness and help bring this alternative form of medicine to the community. Furthermore, I’m thrilled to be apprenticing with Eric Grey, LAc in 2024 to continue building and expanding my knowledge and experience with acupuncture, Chinese herbalism and Classical Chinese formulas.

**Tyler is not yet able to bill insurance other than Motor Vehicle Accident and Worker’s Comp claims.
Hello! I’m Tyler and I am excited to be part of the Watershed team. I am originally from rural Idaho and have lived all over the US, though the Oregon coast has always felt like home. I recently moved to Astoria to be closer to family and love it here.
I have always been interested in natural health and decided to study massage back in 2010. I graduated from Three Oaks Academy (now Idaho Massage School) completing a 750 hour advanced certification program. I have worked in several different types of clinics and have had the opportunity to learn from diverse practitioners.
My work focuses on therapeutic modalities such as neuromuscular and myofascial techniques. I also incorporate some cranial sacral, active release, and joint mobilization techniques, depending on the needs of the client. I have extensive experience treating repetitive motion injuries, migraines, carpal tunnel symptoms, TMJ, and low back pain. I look at the body as a whole, and have a knack for complex or difficult pain patterns.
I look forward to serving this community not only as a massage therapist but eventually as an ND, as I am enrolled in the Naturopathic Doctor program at National University of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland.
When I’m not working or in school you can find me hiking, reading books or playing music. I’m glad to be a part of Watershed Wellness and am looking forward to being a part of your healing journey.
